There are about three issues facing people trying to find true, "cut the crap & just tell me the real deal" information on this topic:
- The guy with the hype trying to sell you something is going to tell you what it takes to make the sale. This is not new, it's what salespeople do! I kicked the sales guy in Best Buy...he wouldn't leave me the heck alone! (In my defense, I DID warn him!)
- The "fake it till you make it" that believes in what he's doing...but hasn't quite figured it out yet. Cut them some slack, they're trying.
- The closed-minded "reviews" made by "academics" based on those who have failed instead of asking the REALLY interesting question...What do successful people do differently? They are short sighted and unimaginative pieces that all say pretty much the same thing. Seriously, it stands to reason that if there is a segment of the population that have successfully figured out the skills to make it work then it's really simple...figure out what they did!
