Success vs Failure

Now here’s a personal question, what is success?

You see, personal success comes in many different forms and your concept of being a success might not be the same as mine. If you want to be successful in your life, then the very first thing you should do is to take the time to decide exactly what “success” means to you. Never mind what it means to anyone else, what does it mean to you?

To some people the epitome of being a success is earning a lot of money. In fact society seems to base the whole concept of success primarily by how much money a person earns. But society’s definition has more to do with flash than it does with substance. Many so-called successful people are very unhappy in their personal life. So, we need to ask…

Success is the destination. Failure resides in the path to reach there. While moving towards your dream, you’ll face various obstacles in your path which will try to stop you from reaching there. A time will come when when you can no longer go forward. That’s failure. Most people give up after attaining failure. Only few can make it. There can me any number of failures in your path. But he who never gave up, will finally reach the destination where he had longed years ago. He will become a new person by then, a person who is stronger, more courageous, and has seen the most of life. He will laugh thinking about the whole journey, and will experience inner satisfaction. That’s success.

Is that what you think of as being a success?

Having a personal definition of what success means to you, and then setting goals accordingly, is the only way to make your achievements truly meaningful. Striving to succeed according to somebody else’s standard or definition may win you the admiration of others, but will it bring you a sense of personal accomplishment?

If you want to be a success on a level that makes you feel truly satisfied, then I encourage you to take some time right now to write down your personal definition of success. Be specific for each area of your life.

Think about what being financially and emotionally successful would feel like. What kind of relationships would represent successful  relationships to you? Once you’ve achieved some success in these areas, how will you spend your time, your money, and your energy? Who would you spend them with?

Get clear on what success means to you!

If the concept of being a personal success sounds good to you, take the first step today. Discover your personal definition of success and write it down. I promise that you will feel more successful immediately. Here’s the main point to take away from this article: Success is a multifaceted, personal concept. By defining what that concept represents to you personally, and by taking the time to write it down, you will automatically move your life in the direction of success.

“That the fastest road to success isn’t about assembling smart people and working hard, but rather engaging people in a bigger ideal than themselves and positively engaging people to work as a team.”

The success is the one when we feel the accomplishment of a task or a goal in our life. To become successful is not an easy one, you require patience, hardwork and passion over that particular thing.

Most people fear of fails. You should understand that you are not really a failure if you keep on trying again after failing.

You are actually a failure if you lose hopes or if you stop trying again. A great personality said these lines which turned my life. Hope this will help the people who quit because they failed a few times.

If you can not run, you walk. If you can not walk, you crawl. But never stop moving.

The difference between success and failure is attitude.

When you succeed, you will be excited overjoyed and full of positive emotions. When you fail, you will not feel good.

The people who learn how to embrace failure as a lesson and accept the risks involved are usually the ones who will keep going. They are very persistent. Their attitude does not reflect failures.

The people who learn that success is not their entire identity or personality are usually the ones who live on to create more successes.

The difference, between success and failure, is in

1) How you feel

2) What do you think

3) What do you do

Success and failure are open to revision, versions, and interpretations. They are not full, final, and permanent.

In most cases, so called success can trap you into a failure, and so called failure can create a sort of wisdom that gives you real victories and satisfaction.

The real victory is in using and enjoying the success and failure exactly same, and still pursue for higher/deeper level with satisfaction.

Success is when you live up to your expectations and Failure is when you do lower than you expected. Success or Failure are both aspects of our satisfaction level. If you feel that by doing / achieving something, that has caused you mental satisfaction then you can call it a success and similarly a condition , wherein you feel that you have not met your satisfaction level (for various reasons) then it should be your failure in achieving that task.

The first step before we embark on the journey to success is to discover what we truly want. We cannot hit a goal if we don’t even know what is our goal. First define the success that we want, and then create plans and take action
